This seminar, after a short re-cap of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna general organization, provides an overview of prior and on-going research activities at the Real-Time Systems Laboratory (RETIS) in the areas of operating systems and kernel-level support for predictable computing, with a focus on soft real-time scheduling for multimedia, cloud and distributed systems, as well as big-data processing infrastructures.
